Valentine's Day, the festival that nurtures love and romance was celebrated at Godrej Nature's Basket, India's premier world food store. The store was transformed into a veritable 'love nest' to bring in Valentine's Day. The occasion saw some of the city's most romantic couples like Dipannita Sharma & Dilsher, Gary Lawyer with wife Anita and Remo & Naaz, learning to cook up a romantic meal with the help of well known food specialist Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal. It was an interactive session where the couples tried their hand at tossing up easy to make recipes for a scrumptious salad, lip-smacking antipasti (a first course meal meaning before the pasta) presented in the form of an X & 0 board with 9 assortments and a mouth-watering dessert to end the romantic meal. All these were specially created to celebrate the day dedicated to love.
The exclusive event saw the celebrity couples reliving their romance through interactive activities organised by the store. After the pre-valentine culinary tutorials the guests participated in fun activities like creating a personalised jingle to impress their loved one. Other activities which kept them involved were crafting a beautiful message on paper. A special tarot card reader also kept couples entranced with interesting insights into their love lives and advice on how they could keep the romance going.
Along with these fun activities the couples were seen enjoying some delectable goodies like cold cuts, varieties of cheese, fresh strawberries and some sparkling wine from across the world.
The store will continue these activities through the festive season. Shoppers can also avail of interesting hampers like the Hamper D'Amour, Bountiful Hampers & most of all, the classic Valentine's Hampers and have them customised according to personal preference.
